The first Unique Auctions Castle Hill Antiques Fairs of 2014 saw the sun shining and thousands of visitors to Lincoln’s famous Castle Square when the market returned on Sunday 16th March. Thirty-two stands of Antiques, Silver, Collectables, Retro, Vintage greeted the visitors who were also able to bring items to be valued by the Unique Auctions team of Antiques experts, and were also entertained by street entertainers during the day.
Darryl Kirk of Unique Auctions said “I have no doubt that this is one of the best locations in the world for an Antiques & Collectors fair. We have the Cathedral, the Castle, Bailgate, Steep Hill and luckily today we also had the weather. Lincoln and Lincolnshire is already one of the leading Antiques areas in Europe and this fair will only help this. Today we had visitors come especially to the fair not only from Lincoln and the East Midlands, but also visiting from all over the country. We have already had a lot of interest in the next fair on April 20th”,
The Antiques & Collectors Fair was organised by Unique Auctions and LincolnBIG.
There are five further Antiques and Collectors Markets planned for 2014 in April, June, July, August and September.
