A rare and unusual violin will be of interest to collectors at Unique Auctions Antiques & Collectors auction on the 22nd and 23rd September.
The violin was bought for the vendor second-hand from the family doctor, Dr Gange, in Faversham Kent by her parents when she was a schoolgirl in 1939 and it has been in her possession ever since. The violin had a label with the writing Nicolaus Amati Cremonensis Faciebat.
