A rare and unusual Quaker Oats Limited Chalk Quaker Man Statue will be one of the most looked at items in our March 22nd and 23rd Antiques, Art and Collectors auction. The statue is made of chalk and is believed to date from the early 20th Century. The statues were probably used as shop displays to promote Quaker Oats and due to being made of chalk very few seem to have survived.
The statue measures approximately high and features the Quaker Man holding a sign which reads ‘Quaker the universally accepted Name and Symbol for Everything Good in Cereal Foods’. The statue is estimated at between £250-£500.
