A rare and unusual L N E R 1931 lithographic poster will be of great interest to railway collectors around the world. Following recent record high prices realised forf Lincoln related railway items we are delighted to present this wonderful poster for auction in our 26th and 27th July Antique & Collectors sale.
The lithographic poster dates from 1931 and was designed by Austin Cooper, it is one of the London & North Easter Railway Old World Market series of posters.
The poster shows the vantage point of the old cattle market on Monks Road and is printed by Vincent Brown Day. It measures approx 104cm high by 63cm wide.
