Lincolnshire cancer patient, Alan Rank, from Barton upon Humber is selling his lifetime collection of stamps to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support Nurses. Alan has been a stamp dealer, stamp fair organiser and collector since the late 1980s. He is selling his collection in gratitude for the support given to him by the Macmillan Nurses.
The collection which consists of hundreds of stock books, Victorian and world stamps is hoped to raise over £10,000 for the charity.
The auction is taking place at Unique Auctions, Lincoln on Friday 11th October.
