Unique Auctions Books, Comics and Postcards auction on the 17th May includes a number of excellent titles and first appearances including CGC copies of Justice League of America 1, Justice League of America 2 (3rd appearance of the Green Lantern), Showcase 23 (2nd appearance of the Green Lantern), Showcase 24, Green Lantern 1, Hawkman 1 (1st Hawkman in his own title), Batman 171 (1st Silver Age appearance of The Riddler), Batman 189 (1st Silver Age appearance of the Scarecrow (Jonathan Crane)) and Batman 498 (Bane breaks Batman’s back). Other comics include early X-Men, Avengers including 57 (1st appearance of Vision), Captain America 101, 102, 117 (1st Falcon) and 180; and a large selection of other comics. The auction includes an impressive run of very fine and better copies of the Eagle.
The auction starts at 9.30am on the 17th May with viewing on Tuesday 16th from 12pm-4pm and from 8am on the morning of the auction. The auction will also be available online via The Saleroom.
