A WWII Castle made by German POW in Lincolnshire – This castle was built by a German POW who was working at the vendors Grandfather’s farm at Brant Broughton in 1943/1944. The POW was called Walter and was based at the Wellingore camp.
A very relevant 1739 George II British Parliamentary paper referring to the repair of roads in Lincolnshire
