This fully functioning cutaway model car was made in Germany for use in driving schools during the 1960s to demonstrate how the car works.
This rare right hand drive model car was purchased by Fred Pearson in 1966 for use at hios Driving School (The Carlton Motoring School at Gillingham, Kent). It was used extensively by the instructors to demonstrate the mechanical principles. It was also used by Fed and Bob Pearson at the Adult Education Centres in the local area.
In 2005 it was sold to a buyer in Scotland but in May 2014 Mr Bob Pearson learning it was for sale again decided to buy it. The model has had a major restoration and is in full working order.
The 1966 Hohm Model Car is to be sold in the New Years Day auction on January 1st 2015.
