The scrapbook includes nearly 130 pages of panels from The London Illustrated News mainly from the turn of the 19th/20th Century. What makes the item unique is that many of the panels are hand coloured.
Themes include The Crisis in China & The Boxer Rebellion, Queen Victoria’s Death & Funeral, Exploration & Navigation.
A very unusual item and viewing is highly recommended.
