A Polyphon disc musical box (taking 11 1/8″ discs) will be popular among Polyphon Collectors at Unique Auctions 28th July Fine Antiques & Asian Art sale. The German Polyphon and c 1900, comes in working order with approximately seventeen 11 1/8″ discs.
The discs play on a single comb with internal winding handle. It is contained within a walnut veneered case with boxwood a lithographic print applied to the interior lid.
