Two 1st Editions by one of the UK’s most famous and most collected authors Ian Fleming will feature at Unique Auctions 26th May Fine Antiques & Collectors auction.
They include a rare 1958 copy of Dr No published by Jonathan Cape. This is a fine example of the book with the famous brown dust jacket, in very good condition, featuring the dancing girl in silhouette by artist Pat Marriott.
The second book is a fine 1961 copy of Thunderball. In Thunderball Ian Fleming first introduces one of Bond’s most famous villains Ernst Stavro Blofeld. Thunderball features another classic dustjacket and this example is in very good condition.
